The aim of the article is to present the image of local government in the his-tory of Poland in the 20th century, in terms of the latest school history textbooks. For the purpose of the analysis, eight studies have been selected, which since September 2012 have been taught in Polish secondary schools. The image of the title issue emerging from the analysis indicates that the marginal treatment of the role and signifi cance of local government in relation to the period of the Second Republic of Poland is clearly visible. The purpose of this article is to present the peasant movement in the Second Polish Republic in contemporary school history textbooks. On the basis of textbooks, students can learn that the peasant movement arose in Galicia in the late nineteenth century. In the Second Polish Republic there were a few parties named Polish People’s Party. For many years the main party was Polish Peasant party ,,Piast”. After Poland regained independence in 1918, it formed a part of several governments, most notably after the Lanckorona Pact and in the Chjeno-Piast coalition. The year 2020 saw the centenary of the return of Pomerania to Poland, which regained access to the Baltic Sea. This event, along with many other issues connected with the establishment of the Polish state after the First World War, has been the subject of historians’ research for years. This also applies to history educators who analyse the contents of school textbooks. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest zweryfikowanie, w jaki sposób autorzy podręczników szkolnych proponują kształcić umiejętność słuchania na lekcjach języka polskiego. Autorka po omówieniu specyfiki słuchania w komunikacji interpersonalnej oraz szczegółowych sprawności percepcyjnych, wyznacza cele doskonalenia słuchowego odbioru w edukacji polonistycznej. Następnie przedstawia analizę zadań dydaktycznych sklasyfikowanych ze względu na rozwijaną sprawność percepcyjną. Artykuł kończy się ukazaniem modelu kształcenia umiejętności słuchania wyłaniającego się z wybranych podręczników szkolnych.

Issues concerning the baptism of the Polish state in 966 year has a wealthy literature. In this context, it is not surprising that the event of this magnitude takes pride of place in the pages of school textbooks. Textbooks are next to the teacher, despite huge progress in access to information seen in the last several years, the primary source of student, acąuired during school education, historical knowledge.
